Dining Area & Kitchen
Bishop Cotton School serves a vegetarian and non-vegetarian diet for its pupils, cooked in a hygienic kitchen by outsourced expert catering staff.
The menu includes a variety of delicious dishes - North Indian, South Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines, and sumptuous snacks - followed by an elaborate spread of desserts. The menu is planned in consultation with the Housemaster caterer and the School Prefects.
Every day, five meals are served: Â chotta hazari, breakfast, lunch, teatime snack, dinner.
Discipline and decorum pervade the dining hall and students begin every meal with a prayer/ grace.
The school also has an in-house bakery that makes cakes and confectionaries.
